Formação Músical/ Musical training

2000-12 Training in Javanese Gamelan at the Cite de la musique as a member of the Cité de la musique's gamelan players.
Our group studied under the supervision of Javanese gamelan masters (mainly Rahayu Supanggah and Sri Joko Raharjo).
During the last 5 years I concentrated mostly on the study of sindhenan (female singing part), and kendhangan ciblon (drums).
We had the opportunity to perform at various events in Chinon (2011), Pontault-Combault (2010), Pau (2009), Nanterre (2008), Strasbourg (2008), Paris (2008), Cannes (2008), Java (2008, 2007), La Réunion (2006), Nice (2004), Grenoble (2004), Lyon (2004), Bourg en Bresse (2004). Some of these performances accompanied traditional Javanese dance or puppet theater.


1994-2005 Training in 'oud under the supervision of Abderrahim Tazi.

2002-03 Training in Middle-Eastern kamancha under the supervision of Anouch Donabedian.

2000-01 Training in vocal classical Arabic music under the supervision of Aïcha Redouane.

1988-98 Training in classical piano.

1887-2000 Practice of Arabic music (mostly percussions -derbouka, tbilat, bendir, riqq, qraqeb- and singing) and Javanese gamelan at the Galerie Sonore d'Angers.
Our group had the opportunity to give concerts at the Royal Festival Hall (South Bank Center - London) in 1994, during the international gamelan festival in Yogyakarta (Indonesia) in 1995 and at the Unesco (Paris) in 1998.
